If banshee's had 29-32 horses from the factory would they get beaten by z400's in drags?

 

No hp is not everything a stock banshee smoke a stock Z 400

 

H/P is only one part of the equation... conditions of the drag, length etc... More h/p does not always equate faster.....

 

3 people i ride with have Banshee's... 1 a Z400... The Z will run side by side with the stock Banshee till about 60mph or so...

 

on asphalt?

 

i also ride with 3 shees and a Z and it kept up with us everywhere we went.. except the drag strip... he would always get the jump for some reason but after 3rd gear we passed..
the z is no more now tho.. he was doing a wheelie and fell of the back.. the quad hit a truck and rolled 3 times and tweaked his brand new frame he had put on cause the other was junk.

 

Yamaha makes horrible pipes. I was reading an old RD350 article and they were hopping one up. Stock it ran 15s in the quarter with some horrible DG pipes it ran high 13s.

 

i think my pred stock pipe was the best pipe ive seen on a 4-stroke.. it had alot of flow.. all the other compainys pipes are way choked up..

 

Does my stock pipe count? .... LOL just messin
