My 07 yfz was dyno'ed at 47.3hp bone stock at sandtrax and im a 1,600 elivation? and now i got 478 big bore and ported and polished heads and few other little things and now the dyno reading say it has 55hp? i thought 40 hp was kinda low for a yfz, my old yamaha blaster has 29.5hp which it has alot of motor work on it though but still...

I ran 58.5hp and 39.5tq at 1450 I gotta little more than a pipe and filter but none the less honda's are reliable bullit proof engines but the day one beats a yamaha I need to see it for my self. I've rode mine and my buddies honda both modded now granted they are older but he can't realy touch my yfz. unless we are in tight woods. but then they are all even anyway

Well guys first HP readings on a dyno are typically used for tuning. You'll find out people will say each dyno reads differently.
Secondly they are speaking of the first year YFZ's because the thread is 7.5 years old!
