Tuner Shop In Ca?
#1
Sup guys I am new to the forums I just bought a New 2004 Limited Edition Raptor and love it!
I did a search and nothing came up under tuner shop or atv shop so I was going to ask if anyone on the forum knows of a tuner shop in No.California that can get a little more go out of the raptor.
Thanks for your help.

Do you just want to stick your quad on a dyno and jet it or do you want to get into the engine and modify for more power?
Scott at West Coast ATV (Elk Grove) can do some of the mod work for you. Are you near Marysville?
Give us more detail on what you are looking to do. Pipe and air filter?
Where do you ride? What do you want the power for (better trail riding or shooting the hill at the dunes?) How much do you want to spend? Do you already have a pipe? High flow air filter?

I am wanting to get the pipe, jettting, and air filter done at the sametime. I want to try this set up power wise for a bit and see if I am happy with it before breaking in to the motor itself. The reason I want a shop to do it is because I don't have any expersions tuning duel carbs. Dyno tuning is the best for fine tuning I guess but I am not sure if they are any in are area.
DuneMe: Yes I live just outside of marysville. I ride at are local river bottoms, pretty much anywhere I can. Money is not a problem I think the yoshi pipe set up I looked at was $450 or so I can't remember.

Is the river-front riding area open again yet? (not the pay track.)
Scott at West Coast ATV should be able to set you up with a good price for the pipe (I like the Yoshi) and an air filter adapter with the K&N & outerware.
Jetting the Raptor is a pain.
For riding locally that will be all the power you will need (you may want to go one tooth smaller on the counter sprocket too.) If you go to the sand and want to drag up the hill you may want more power. But, this will be fine for quite a while.

where are you located?? No where near San diego right? Well if you were there is a shop called "Yakkie Racing" (not totally sure I spelled yakkie correctly). The guys name is Rich Yakkie and he is in Ramona, which is just an area in the bonnies of san diego. He does incredible work and VERY low prices.
