Yes they will be fun for you. I ride mine year round. Just be carefull you can't stop to good. they do make a snow conversion kit with skies that would be fun as h*ll. Maybe some studs if the finances are limited like mine.

I dont remember the name of the company but i do know that they are expensive. You would need a high horsepowerd quad like a rappy or banshee. They put tracks on the rear tires like a triangle and then skies up front just like a snow mobile. They look pretty fun, but i wont ever spend the money on one.

I think its Mattraxx or something like that. Yeah if I'm thinking right it was something like 4950 for a 4x4 quad, but that had the traxx in the front too not skis like a sport might have. It would be really fun though.

We turned our block into a big circle track after a fresh snow last winter, it was a ball. With 22" Holeshot XCTs, I had better traction than my buddies running stock tires and/or Razrs. After 6" of snow though, it gets very hard to keep the front end straight at higher speeds. Small skis strapped to the front tires would help a lot, I used to do it on my dirt bikes as a kid.

I put a set of chains on mine. You wouldn't believe the stuff you can go through. If you get them nice and tight you can still get some good speed with out them slapping. And they throw a great roost.
For the snow conversion, go to "AD Boivin". Denis Kirk has chains for a good price.
