Default 300 dollar warrior

hey guys another quad- there is a Warrior on Atv trader.com for only 300 dollars and says all it needs is a starter, and few other odds and ends. it is about 4 hours from my house(guessing)

how much would a starter for an old blaster cost me?are they decent bikes
sorry i am kind of a trike guy myself but all the trails are being worn for 2 lines and riding a trike on them is kinda hard!

Blasters just have a kicker if you mean a warrior, for the price of an OEM starter you could buy a complete parts motor on ebay so thats where you need to look. Also, how old is the warrior? If hes saying it has a broken starter theres no telling what it will do after you buy one and actually start it. Prolyl shot crank bearings or some crap. Push start that joker and ride it to see if the tranny and other things are in good shape. Listen for valve tap, if its audible thats normal, if its really loud either the top end isint getting oil good or their way out of spec. Only other things I can think of are check the sprocket to make sure the case isint cracked around it (from a broken chain hitting it) and make sure the shocks are in good working order.

even if there is somthing wrong with the motor for 300 dollars you you fix it and still not have spent alot of money. or if u don't like it, u could prolly sell it to somebody as a parts bike.

For $300.00, even if the motor was jacked, you could get another off ebay or rebuild your motor and have a good running quad. What year is it?
