No Doubt..... Snowing here in NY as well. Got almost a foot already, and they're calling for more tomorrow. The streets out here, are a free-for-all right now with ATV's and Snow Mobiles. It's legal while the state is in a "State of Emergency" as they call it. I rode all day went through two full tanks of fuel. I'm exhausted... Tomorrow's another day.... Have Fun.... Ive been waiting for it to snow for the longest time so I could use my 2001 Wolverine with its spanking new plow. Turns out the battery was dead, and the sparkplug all gummed up so it only took 4 hours to get it running. After plowing my driveway and a friends driveway I ran into some trouble.

HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP !

Engine sounds like its not getting enough gas, backfires every so often. When I rev the engine in Neutral the engine sounds like its going to die. Any Ideas? What would cause this ? How do I fix it. The quad is basically not rideable, as even in 1st gear I barely apply the gas and the engine starts to cut out.

PLEASE HELP, anyone.

Thanks .

DPHOST, Check your parking brake connection on the rear caliper, push it in to where the spring is not stretched at all, have a friend give it gas, and see if this fixes the problem. It did on my Wolverine!

Thanks everyone for your replys.

The dealer by me says that its probably the sparkplug or there is water in my bowl. Im going to try and get over to the deal and get a new plug as soon as I can clean the 5 inches of snow off my truck.

If the new plug doesnt fix it, Im going to be really screwd untill I can take it over to the dealer next week. Their service is only open M-F.

Guess Im going to be shoveling my driveway if none of this works.

Thanks again.

Any of you guys riding Raptors in the snow. I always get trouble with ice building up around my shifter. It gets bad enough that I can't shift or I may bend the shifter trying. Anyone have the same problem?
