kfx700 v craptor
Hey, hdman i've been going back and forth about what pipe and jets to get. I just order the pro-circuit t 4 and k&n filter with the gyt-r jet kit. What do you think about your pipe and do you have any good info for me about the pipe or anything i'm kind new at working on atv's.

With the stock clutch spring, just about anything can beat a V. It shifts way to early in the powerband.
Put a high stall/high shiftout spring in it with no other mods and it beats them all; piped, jetted or not.
Kawasaki wimped out on the spring issue. Probably to liability lawyers.

In October for the weekend I rode a perfectly tuned piped,K&N fitted Vforce at Little Sahara dunes and with in 300 feet I beat MOST all piped raptors or raptors in general. But after 300 feet the raptors will pass you because the Vforce runs out of steam the timimg on the Vforce will start retarding at its set top speed and it hold the bike back ALOT. Once they make a Dyna ignition for the Vforce it will be ten times faster.

not to start any bashing but i raced them both with my scrammy all of us have a pipe and i have a filter
(we raced 300ft)my scrambler got the v off take off because his wheelies too much and right around the last 50 yards the v will start to gain on me and i will win by like 1/2 to 1/4 quad length and when i raced the rappy,we were neck and neck off the line and when he hit 4th he pulled ahead and ended up winning by about 1 or 2 lengths but we raced again and he got off of his shift pattern and i ate him alive, the v and raptor didnt race becaue i raced them on different days but i think the raptor will win once it hits 3rd or 4th gear due to the insane mid-range power hit and the light weight, another factor may be that i have 23" mudlites on the rear and the rappy and v have factory tires, all of our rides are broke in so that isnt a factor and we raced on the highschool football field so terrain isnt a factor either, hope this helps
p.s. im 15 and 6'4" 225lbs
my friend with the rappy is 19 and 6'1"180ish,and my friend with the v-force is 17 and 6'4"200ish
-----------
01 scrammy 500 2x4
fmf maga max II exhaust
K&N filter with outerwears
23"mudlites on the rear
roosts like H%LL!!
