I all

here's my problem we ride here in temp down to -30f to achieve that we need hand warmer,thumb warmer and heated shield etc......

presently if i have those thing open i end up with a dead batery can't restart if stall etc......

I had a raptor with those thing without problem

i know my charging system work properly but i need more electrical power

if someone can help me or have any clue i would REALLY apreciate it


ps: i think trailtech are working on something but not sure if it's on the market right now

I would check with ricky stator i didn`t see any thing for the YFZ in there stator section but i`m sure that if you call them or send them an e-mail them they can rewind your factory stator for a higher output. my friend had them do the stator on his 88 250R about 2 years ago for higher output lights he has had no problems since

 

What kind of heat shield do you use?

 

HJC helmet heat shield

 

I have an HJC LTX4....does HJC make this heat shield? I could sure use something of that sort here in the northeast in the states. THanks for the reply.

 

i'll check at my local dealer i'm going there in couple of minutes but i'm pretty sure they have it for ur helmet if it is a snowmobile helmet
