A slip-on is just that...you use the stock header pipe with the new silencer. A full system comes with the header pipe..you wouldn't notice much difference in power between the two until you do some engine work...So just think about what you want in the future and go from there...

If you shop carefully, you can get a decent slip-on, a K&N with adapter and a few main jets for $300. The power difference from a slip-on to a full exhaust is pretty minor, until you do serious internal engine stuff. Since you are looking for the most bang for $300, do a slipon and airfilter with airbox mods and rejet. All the slipons give good gains and the differences between them are not that big until you get to the next level of mods. The next big boost in power after that will cost $1000-2000. Most of the magazines offer power kits that include the above for under 300.

Yep, what they said. I gotta tell you if you get a good slip-on, K&N, and jets for around $300 then you are doing very well. Maybe I should have shopped around.

Try Rocky Mountain ATV. I used to use them before I got rid of my Raptor.
