I recently read in the Canadian version of ATV Magazine that "the Big Bear has hauled more equipment into and out of the bush than all of the other brands put together."

Is this true? Is the Yamaha Big Bear the the number 1 durable quad in Canada?

I liked the magazine. It was very refreshing, there were no impossible death defying off camber photo opportunities. Just real people driving real quads without total MX body gear.

Yeah I read that too. Up here in B.C. Canada I would have to say that that would be a slight exagration. There are alot of other quads around although the Big Bear has been a very popular model.

You bet there is lots especailly companies that use them like for power line maintance because there cheaper and simple. They do not want a fleet of bikes that need there water level checked everyday and a 400 big bear cost less than a Rancher and can work harder. If someone did not tell me I would think Yamaha sell the most quades from the looks of it but there is alot more older Yamahas running around.
