warrior suspension
#1
Hi, I have a 99 warrior with a DG pipe and a KN air filter. I read somewhere that I should get an aftermarket suspension but I don't know what kind to get? Can any one help? I was also wondering where I could get a white brothers tork stuffer? Thanks

OK....fiirst of all, the front suspension on the Warrior kinda sucks, the back is actually pretty good. You can get some Daul Rate Works Steelers shocks out of a Denis Kirk catolog and that will run you about $300. I've heard they improve handling somewhat and are much tougher than the stockers. I've already broken one of my fronts so I too was thinkin about aftermarket front suspension. Hope this helps....

I agree with PC. My 13 year old shocks are in dire need of replacing. I just spent out about 100 for stock shocks from a 97. They're supposed to be in excellent condition, but I wish I had the money for the Steelers. I think RockyMountainATV might have em too.

it would help because i have a 98 warrior and my shocks always bottom out on jumps so i got ct racing suspension and it helps alot but it will run u about 6 hundred dollars!!! well what kind of jumps do u go off of?how high?

I was just out riding and I think I bottomed out for the first time, when I landed it made a loud bang from the front end. My biggest "jump" consists of a 1 foot high berm, I'm not sure how high I get, maybe I get 5-10 feet long on my jumps, I don't know? Currently my shocks are set on the second "notch", I am gonna put them on three (there are 4 notches), and see if that prevents me from bottoming out again. $600?? wow, I can't afford $600 for shocks! I need a pipe/silencer first, and don't know if I can spaend the at least $200 for that!
Also, how should I make some jumps, I have access to a skid steer, should I make them longer with a gradual incline, or with a shorter, steeper incline?? remember my warriors suspension is stock, so how high should I make these jumps?

Never go cheap on performance parts. You totally get what you pay for.
You don't even have your preload turned up! I keep mine on the hardest setting on my blaster.
When i get my new blaster one mod will be new works fronts and rear.

first of all the works shocks front and rear will give out on u just like the stock ones will!! i got a 98 warrior(and other quads). but on my yamaha warrior i have ct racing performance shocks and they are the best u can take the warrior to ct racing and the will work the shocks that are just right for u my ran about 6-7 hundred. u should make the jumps long with a gradual incline if u have stock shocks. i race up in sleepy hollow and in englishtown and i hit jumps that are about 9 feet high with about a 15 foot gap so with the ct racing suspension u will land great!!!! so go wih ct!!! i have ct on my 250r to
