oops wrong post. I prefer the YFZ over the Raptor just because of the kind of riding i do. If i was a trail rider i would for sure get a raptor but it seems like more people trail ride than MX or any fast racing so obviously the majority are going to prefer the raptor.

 

I'd rather have a raptor until the 450 has been out long enuf to have the bugs worked out uf it. I never buy anything when it first comes out cuz uf the reason.

 

I'd take the yfz450 for MX, I already got a good quad for trails.

I would take the raptor660 .. Because all the riding i do is pretty much trails and drag racing some of my friends.....

 

man, the only reason that the raptor has so many more options is that its been out for 3 lyears longer than the yfz, what do you expect, wait a couple years and aftermarket parts will be endless for the YFZ.

 

and i'm sure i'll be running some of those parts...i'll be on the new 450 this spring......

 

I would take the raptor, and I have ridden both... raced both, and fallen off both. I cant ever get over how much better my raptor looks stitting next to my buddies yfz. And the low end torque, even with my stock gearing, is crazy. However, its also just as insane how well the YFZ pulls away from my raptor after I shift to 3rd, and well it tools around the MX track. But I am modding my raptor slowly, and I know one day it will be neck and neck between the 2 in a drag, and that I wont be all that far behind the YFZ on the MX track.
