that just sounds like it wasn't taken care of...

 

To be honest every ATV I have owned has been excellent. Here's a short list

Bayou 300 2wd
Bayou 300 4X4
Yamaha Moto 4 80
Quadrunner 250 4x4
Lakota
Wolverine
250r
Honda TRX200 II
Tecate 3 (ATC)
Banshee

All of these have been excellent, especially the Bayous and the TRX200 they took a beating and never had a problem.

However I do currently own a 95 Polaris SLX Jet Ski and boy that thing is a pos it breaks everytime we take it out. Unlike the 91 Kawasaki we have that always runs flawless.

 

Ive only owned two quads.. And they both rocked! Blaster and then the Raptor [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

same here i agree with you on how tough it is mine took such bad beatings. its been rolled tomany times to count, hit big trees going fast (fast for the moto4 neways), and its been revved to the moon and shifted without letting off the gas. the only thing that happen was the axle broke.... lol. but thats not too bad cuz me n my friends abuse it pretty bad.

 

OK: I'm old, well older than some of you, least I still have my nose hairs. LOL But the only 4 wheelers that I did'nt like. Which were a few, where the ones with no rear shock. (SUX) hard tails they called them. And not a hog.

The worst atv ive ever owned, was a 95 t-wolf, It was in GREAT condition when we bought it, but over time, i started giving it a beating, knocked the racks off the rear end, had the drums lock up front and rear, at one time only the hand-front brake would work, one of the headlights had been knocked out of whack,only one would shine, the battery mounts were completely trashed,they got hot and would weaken, then the battery cable would go through the mounts, the plastic was cracked where it held the battery, on the right rear fender at the bottom, it had about a 5 inch high crack going vertical, the rear shock had lost some gas in it, and when you hit a 1 ft high ramp, it would slam! well, thats about as crappy as they get, i sold it for $1000 and snagged the Banshee with some other $$ in my dads pocket [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Well, we've only owned (in order) a 2000 Arctic Cat 250 2WD, 1994 300EX, 2002 Rancher 2WD, and 2002 Raptor. Out of these, I would have to say the Arctic Cat was the worst. Heel toe shifting, 600 pounds, weak 250, and 2WD. Still, not a bad bike to learn on, and it never broke. So really, I can't complain.
