I forgot to mention:

I've been running 14/41 gearing since before my "big break" and the reason I ended up @ the banshee hill on Halloween was because I was having a tough time w/ the whoops on the main part of Olds (I think that's Olds hill). I know, I know... if I can't handle the whoops I shouldn't be ridning. There ended up being plenty of guys willing to run over there anyway and we had a blast.

Now those same whoops or bigger on my CRF450 can't be taken fast enough. I don't know that the difference is, but there is one.

I'll pass it on to my Buddy's Wife. She is into racing the hill and wants more power!

As for the whoops. . . I hear that! I can handle the ones we get at Sand Mt. (NV) but, what I've experienced at Glamis was a different story!

Sounds like you can still do a little more stuff with the head if you start looking for more power!

Right now our plans are for the 26-31 at Gordon's Well. I have to get home by New Year's eve.

In case things change with our plans. . . when will you be arriving there?

 

I'm leaving SLC on 12-31 arriving @ Dumont by mid/late afternoon. I'm only riding for (1) day (New Years day) there... want to get back and hang w/ the wife and kids for a long weekend.

It looks like a nice place and I'm getting excited to go. I've watched those T-day vids a hundred times and can't wait to run the hills. There's gonna be several YFZ guys meeting up there.

I still can't get over that CRF450 quad or whatever it is - the fastcrf450 vid.
