I'm only ragging on myself for wasting time and money on the Raptor to make it the all hyped up 686 with CraftCraft porting and I wasn't that impressed and yes it was a proper setup, but you must not have ridden a drag Banshee before and had the powerband want to rip your arms off, so if you ever get the chance to go for it and you see what I'm talking about. Let me also say that down here in Miami all the drag races are on pavement and the Raptor wasn't cutting it for me compared to the modded out quads.

With the same amount of money spent on each, a Banshee will DESTROY a Raptor. I know, I've got both. Nothing matches the arm ripping power of a hotted up Banshee.

stock for stock I have beaten down several banshees......

i've beaten piped banshee's with my current setup.....

i even beat a banshee with a cool head, advance ket, high rev cam, and pistons.....

but i'm sure a decked out banshee would kill me. but i have beaten the above. so i'm happy.

Banshee's are a 2stroke quads and do not use any high rev cam.

Raptorboy- a 686 or a 727 is just the engine size of the raptor...... it is done by boring or changing the sleeve! theres a lot more to it but i am just trying to answer your question with simplicity!
