He is probably convincing several people daily too throw their money away....this is sad and something NEEDS TO BE DONE. There is really nothing EBAY can do since all of these deals go on outside of EBAY right?

It would certainly take longer than four days for it to be shipped from Amsterdam

Here's some more e-mails from another scamer I've been talking too:

Again, read it from bottom to top.

Brad,

I want to tell you that I am unable to send this information.
You are asking me to fax a blank title of origin from a 6000$ unit.
I am unable to do that is like I am asking you to send me your home title of property or ID with ssn or driver's license.
Please adivse further.

I have a preapproval for a loan from my bank, but they need to see a manufacturers statment of origin. If you still have the quad for sale, let me know and I'll give you a number to fax it to.
Thanks.

brad,

Unfortunately I am unable to use other payment method than western union due to my tourist status from netherlands, but I know and I understand your concerns for purchasing this kind of unit and especialy overseas so that's why I have a proposal that will secure you over this transaction and make you feel more confortable about purchasing this unit.
My suggestion is to arrange the western union transaction but instead of using my name you will only put my address and at the name you will fill other name like your friend's name or parents name.
In this way I will be able to verify the transaction and you will be sure that I will not get in touch with the funds.
As soon as I will have the payment confirmation (sender's full name and address, mtcn, receiver's name and amount transfered) I will check the payment at western union and if everything is OK I will proceed with shipping.
Now It's in our both interest not to add any aditional fees to this transaction like duty and others that may occur so in order to eliminate other aditional fees I will declare the item as GIFT uppon shipping and you will not pay any duty or tax fees at arrival, secondly in order to avoid aditional charges that will occur at western union it's in your best interest not to tell the agent that you will change the name afterwards or that the payment is for a merchandise, you just tell them that it is for some friend in europe and that's it.
Hoping that this method will make you feel more confortable in sending this payment I am waiting your email in order to finalize this business.

Best Regards.

You didn't mention whether or not you will accept escrow.

Shelby Greenwood < > wrote: Hello,
Thanks for your interest in this machine.
I want to tell you that this machine is brand new in warranty.
Secondly I want you to know that I am located in netherlands with business
and I will ship this item from here and I will also cover the shipping and
insurance fees to your location.
I accept like payment money order.
If you are further interested in purchasing this great vehicle please let me
know asap to arrange the deal.
Regards.

What are your payment terms? Will you accept escrow if I were to pay for it?

We reported some YFZ450s for sale to ebay fraud and they removed the links FAST one night. I bet you can get the same results. They cannot sell those quads for less than Yamaha releases them to the dealer for. They will make NO $$$$$$$$$$$$. Its impossible to run a business that way. Its a scam!

You know for the ones that are inside the US, tell them you want to drive to their business or house and pick it up personally and see what they say.
