do any of u know a website that can bore your pistons over or know where u can buy a 240 kit if so let me know thanks.

 

you really dont wanna go 65mph on a blaster, do you have any idea how bad that things gonna be shakin? maybe you should try getting the wheels balanced and everyting alligned before going 65, even then flthrottle that long isnt good for the motor, just get a motorcycle or an enduro

 

Do a search on pulse jet engines…mount that to the quad strap on a propane tank and go about 150-175

 

my piped and jetted (fmfs) blaster goes 65... but quads run faster in the cold dense air of alaska

 

go get yourself a YAMAHA sticker... that should be good for a couple MPH [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

or upgrade to a bigger quad...like 420EX said.. not good to run at full throttle for a long period of time. You could sell the blaster, pick up a nice used 400ex, and easily make that run 65 safely all day long.

all i know is doing 65 on a highway with cars passing you, let alone semi's will have so much wind tubulance the bike is gonna sway from side to side. 65 on a blaster would shake you right off of it , and destroy the motor at the same time. my vinson with a cam and port and polish and other things, will run 72mph, but when i am doing 65 it is not something i would want to do for long, for example, it is not good for the motor, and it is hard to see at 65 even with goggles. and lastly what happens if someone cuts you off, your done for, my vinson will slo down better than some cars, but blasters brakes are poor from what i have read.

he man highway driveing sounds fun, just be safe, and one more thing do you use car tires, or regular tires, cause i would use car tires for a much smoother ride.

he dosent HAVE to go full throttle all day to go 65...

what you will need to do is get a 240 sleeve, and mabey port it a bit. Get a pipe also and good reeds. Then put on a 15 tooth front sprocket. if that dosnet do you justice, then get a SMALLER back sproket.

 

go up one tooth in the front and find a long steep hill.

either that or push it out the back of a plane...

i dont want to go 65 miles an hour for along time..i just want a top speed so i can cruise nicely at 55-60 ..the speedlimit is 55 miles an hour on all roads where i live. Blaster breaks do suck accept for the 03/04 blasters because they put hydrolic brakes on them. Thanks for all your help you've been very generous.
