Big beaR 350 TOP SPEED?
Faster or quicker? These are two different things, top speed / accelleration is regulated by final gear ratio , tire diameter , rpm ( rev limited ) and total power out put. What works to increase top speed doesnt always make a better hole shot.
For top end try going to a taller tire but you will need a little more power.
Making it breath is always good start. SUPPERTRAPP makes a slip on IDS2 muffler, that and a K&N air filter and going up two jet sizes ( and maybe a dyno jet needle ) with give you a little extra feel in the seat of the pants.

I would think that if its running like it should, you ought to be able to get around 48-50 out of it on pavement after letting it wind out completely. My 89 Honda 300 GPS'd at 51 maxed out. Took a while to get there, and the slightest grade brought it back down to the mid 40's, but the Big Bear should be a lot better than just 38.
I did the GPS test on the 300 the same day I did it on my old 99 AC 500. The Arctic Cat would go like 52.8 or something. Not much faster overall than the little honda, but it didn't lose speed as much on grades, and it got there a lot quicker. GPS on my 660 told me 60mph flat even. Speedometer said 65 at the time.
I think a 2wd Big Bear will be both quicker and have a higher top end than the 4x4 though.
