Sounds like you will need to step up to a big bore 4 stroke or Banshee if you want that kind of hp gain.

Dont waste your time and money on a blaster,,,,the bike just isnt built to handle much more power than it already has.

Default Blaster Question

Well considering what pussies Blaster's are.....i would say not enough to beat my KDX. You need something better than that little Air-Cooled, oil injected, no power valve motor. Did you know the year they came out with the Blaster right? 1987? Well the year after they came out with them the KDX200 motor went from having no powervalves, to having powervalves and get this.....Liquid Cooling!!! Even if you bored your Blaster out to a 240 you wouldn't even be a challenge. So you need something more than that Toomey B-1 Pipe Kit. Besides i'm getting a new back tire so i would watchout when your behind me cuz i'm gunna be throwing much more cowsh*t....

foxrfacer20, screw the idiots that talk trash about smaller quads just b/c they have the money for a bigger more powerful one, i REALLY HATE those people ! I'm sure you feel similar. if you like your blaster, and want more power, then start by getting a decent pipe and silencer combo. don't let people talk trash about your ride, EVER

i know what you mean but if you really look around you can find a used higher displacement 4 stroke for under 2 grand, but u kinda have to know some people~thats why i paid $400 for my blaster and $1300 for my 400ex. the blaster is truly a great beginners quad but you will get tired of it, i know i did

Default Blaster Question

KDXrider200 : there is no reason to put the blaster or this kid down for that matter !!!

The blaster has been around for a long time and guess what ..Yamaha sells every single 1 they make , the reason for that is cause its a great ATV with all around performance and can be modded for any type of riding you do, not to mention they can get speeds from 60 mph to around 72 mph or more, I have seen this with my own eyes so it is a fact.

Default Blaster Question

get ome low profile tires then thats what ther called but yeah a blaster is a great begginers quad despite what other people say but with the money your looking to put in to one you would be better off with a 250r u can find one for abou 3 G's and thats prolly less then ull be spending on your blaster i hope this helps!
