Default Using Winch

I want to use the warn winch on my Grizz to pull some rocks (around 200lbs each) from the back to the front of my house. any ideas on how to do this or should I create some kind of sling and tow the rocks.

thanks

I wouldn't use the winch to drag it. The only way you should use the winch is if you are stationary and you want to pull something to you, or if you want to pull yourself to something, say a tree. Never hook your winch to something and pull, using the bike to pull the object. Always let the motor do the work on the winch.

Does that make any sense?

just take the $250 youd have to spend to replace your winch from misuse, and go to thew local caterpillar store and rent a skidsteer for the weekend. you can do those rocks and a lot more all in the same whack. bean
