final oil gear
Hey, ok I did a fine job of changing my oil & filter on my 4 wheel but um, not to sure about the final oil gear.. the question I have if anyone knows, do I have to drain the final oil first before adding new, or do I just add to it? I have a yamaha kodiak 400, 2x4..

Go here. http://www.yamaha-motor.com/service/service.asp click on View Owners Manual, Enter Year, ATV and then pick yours. Then click step 4 to open manual. Its a PDF file. On the left hand side click on Periodic Maintenance and Adjustment. Scroll through there and you should find how ot change the Final Gear oil. I have a 2001 Kodiak 400 4X4 and mine is on page 127. Hope this helps.

I have an owners manual but it doesn't tell me anything. that is why I had to come here..

well I have a few places I ride now.. surry, va & south hill, va.. I am a member of an atv club in richmond. the club just got started so we are looking for land to ride.. here is the website address. go check it out when you get the chance.. tell me your story atv, where do u ride and how old are u? do u have wife or girlfriend that rides? always looking for more people to ride with..

I have been on private land that is under developement. Haven't been out for two months because of work but I'm looking for other places to ride and people to ride with. I'm only a stones throw from Centreville and the land is 15 minutes from here. PM me and maybe we can hook up.

Hey Everyone,
I went riding to this place called Patterson in new castle, va in the George Washington National Forest.. OMG that place was so cool. I highly recommend everyone going sometime..
