Just get some fine grit sand paper and sand down the scratches so your plastic is smooth then apply your graphics kit.

I don't know how deep your plastic is scratched but you should be able to get by with some 100-200 grit sand paper. Wrap the sand paper around a block of wood if need be. A buffer would also work but you run the risk of taking too much plastic off with it. The sand paper will dull the finish of the plastic but you won't care since you will cover it with a graphics kit. For the graphics kit to adhere best to the freshly sanded plastic, you might want to finish up the sanded areas with a more fine sand paper like 400 grit.

You might be ahead to just get new plastic...but I would try the sand paper idea. It might get your plastic into shape to cover with the kit without having it come back off or look bad.

couldnt you put superglue in the cracks to keep air from getting up under the graphic kit, then when it dries, sand it down if its not even and put it on? BTW, those new HBOMBFILM graphic kits are SWEET, too bad they dont make them for banshees

If you have really deep scratches with lips on the edges, you can use a torch to smooth it out and then sand it but you have to be carefull.

yeah i was thinking of useing a torch. That will melt the plactic and mase it smoooth. also if i put super glue in the scratches and then sand it it will prob work. I dont even think that the graphics kit will stick too good on the plactic anyway if it was smooth. So what i am going to do is Glue the decales on so they dont go anywhere and especially glue around the edges.. The thing That i am dealing with now is what kind of graphics o should get. I want to be unique. i kno if i air brush it then i will be one of a kind but i dont want to pat 600 bucks on that. What is a graphics kit taht is reely good that a lot of people dont want but looks good?
