hey man the my frinds 310r seized up and it looked like the piston started to melt if that is what yours looks like it probally quit (i took mine off before it had the chance )in the clymer manual there is a section on how to test the injector
as for blockoff kits i got mine from t&m desigens and havent had a prob instlation: 1 drain oil: 2, take off injector cover: 3, remove hoses drain&remove oil tank: 4, take hose off carb and cover oil intake hole on carb: 5, take off kick starter: 6, lossen bolts on main side cover (find a way to keep them in order they ARE difrent seizes: 7, remove side cover and remove old gasket: 8, take off little plastic gear and remove oil injector (2 screws and a little wiggeling ) and remove old gasket: 9,take new gasket and blockoff plate and use supplied bolts and some locktite to bolt down blockoff plate: 10, reinstall kickstarter gear (make sure the "kick stop" is at the top0: 11,while holding the gear inplace slide sidecover&new gasket over the shaft on the gear and hold the side case on and make sure it works before bolting down the sidecase: 12 ,if it works bolt on the side case and you are done

Why does everyone blame the injector every time they sieze a Blaster? Other things can brake you know...

BTW: The first quad ever to finish the (6000 mile plus) Paris-Dakar rally was a Blaster running oil injection. Never siezed up. Hmmm...

BTW II: Anyone see the Rally Banshee in an ATV Action mag a few months ago? He ADDED oil injection. Hmmm... I think I see a trend...

My Blaster is oil injected, after 5175 miles, I've yet to have it quit. Call me stupid, but I'm not a bit worried.

all you have to do is take off the side case and take off the little plastic gear
that is what it said to do in dirt wheels (mix at 32:1)

I know my injector was bad.

There was dirt on the piston and a few teeth were missing on the gear.
