Could you tell me which wires you hook together so I can start my Rappy in gear. Killing it in reverse when stuck in the snow. It's a real beeatch to get it back into neutral to start it.

You just have to clutch it to start it in gear.

But I always heard it's a no no. Supposed to be hard on the one way starter. Or atleast that's what I hear from the yamaha shops i've been around.

No, I took the e-brake off so there are some wires that were disconnected which now only allows me to start in neutral. If I connect 2 of those wires together it will start in gear again, but I'm not sure which wires they are.

Ah I see. Well I can't help you there....but I also didn't know you would have to start in neutral if you took off the park brake. HMM....maybe something else I won't do since it does that.

Well on my warrior all i had to do was get some wire and goto my silenoid and it was the one far back, cloosest to the rear end. and hook that wire to there and run it up to my positive side on my battery. You can turn it over even if the keys turned off. Start in any gear even if the clutch isnt pulled in. hope this helps.

I just changed my perch also........

there were 2 plugs on the perch.........the top one goes to the e-brake.........take that one off completely...........
the other one is for the starting in gear..........
it has 2 wires in it.........and the connectors are opposites, so they will connect to each other...........

just connect them and it should be good to go.......

Yeah what scary said. There are two wires with bullet connectors behind the bars that go up to the perch, unplug those two wires from the wires going up to the switch on the perch if you haven't allready and plug the two wires together that run back along the frame.

I know it's pretty easy, I just need to get in there and find them. When I disconnected the perch I think I taped up the wires and hid them. Now I just need to get in there and find um. Thanks for the help.
