Default Sprocket gearing question..please help?

Okay I just got my new front sprocket off ebay today for my 2001 blaster w/22" maxxis sur trak's. The problem is the guy auctioned a 13 tooth which is stock and he sent me a 14 tooth. I would send it back but its such a hassle. My question is how is this gonna effect my performance. I need to buy a rear cause it looks worn too, so I'm gonna let you guys decide what I should get. I don't race and really only hill climb, pretty heavily, and trail ride, so top end isn't as much of a factor. What rear sprocket should I get so I can use this 14 tooth effectively. Also I just put a brand new D.I.D. chain on with stock 92 links, please help me so I can use this chain with these sprockets. Thanks for all the help!!!

to get the 14 to actually work...you'll have to go way higher on the rear sprocket otherwise it will claim your acceleration and give you top end speed

whats the stock rear sprocket size on the blaster?

Wouldn't I need a much longer chain to do that though? I just bought this chain, it would be so much cheaper just to buy another 13 tooth front sprocket then a chain if you know what I mean, but I'd rather try the 14 tooth out just don't wanna kill my bike.

You want a 12 tooth front sprocket. If you're going to change the rear sprocket then you at least want to go back to the 13 tooth front. A good rule of thumb is; for every tooth you go down in the front it's like going up 3 teeth in the rear.
If that's true, and you put the 14 tooth on the front you're going to have to get a 43 tooth sprocket for the rear just to get it back to stock. That would be dumb and yes you would need a longer chain.
Sorry you got the wrong sprocket, but I would either send it back or just take it in the shorts and go down to the dealership and buy a 12 tooth. They're not that expensive.
