It doesn't matter, when I put my hand guards on it messed up the aerodynamics of my quad and now I can't achieve full potential of what the Raptor can deliver.
Hopefully I will be down in S. Ca this Spring and you guys can beat up on me all day long. As long as we can drink beers and make excuses afterwords.

I think everyone thinks way to high of the raptor b/c it has 660 cc's. Woopie. My buddy raced his 03 Raptor with a FMF powerbomb header and Q series silencer. Holeshots front and back. And got spanked by a bone stock 450. The Raptor isn't that quick of a quad. Not trying to bash it.

I would say you are a die hard fan if you are still cheering for them.
They might be better next year.....or atleast you should hope.
And a YFZ will win the short drags. That's already been discovered.
And btw....that FMF pipe held the rappy back. Everyone know's that.

I have both (450 wife's bike). The raptor is faster and quicker, but the 450 is right behind. At Pismo yesterday the 450 was very fast. A Sparks' 690, two banshees and two Sparks' 450 honda's were the fastest. D J Noerr was there with his brand new 450 yfz by Sparks, you will remember him from fswll. That bike is fast. Wish Chuck(250r4life) could have been with us, He has the fastest 450 of our group. Duneslider22(yzf) beat a lot of bikes including a few built banshees. We raced a ton of people beat most of them.
