Me and my friends bought about 10 acres of land. We want to build a race track. Does anyone know how to build it. I mean how should it be shaped. I know a circle is a good way or go up jumping and then turn aroung and go down. but i want a professional Atv track. I own a construction company and i know how to build jumps im just wandering what kind of shape it should be and how long?

 

I guess nobody knows how to build and design a track????????

 

There is no right answer to your question, it's however you want it to look. 10 acres is not a lot of land so you are going to have to build somewhat of a supercross type track. You can do a search under supercross. They always show the layout of the tracks. That should give you some kind of idea.

 

I used to have the web address for the guys (dirtworxs?) that build all the supercross tracks. All the track layouts are show graphically. I just can't find it (the link) now. They have a section on building yer own track too. It's a very informative site.

Edit: You can do quite a bit w/ (10) acres w/o making it a supercross-like track.

 

you could make two completely different 5 acre tracks and at one turn make it to where you can switch tracks that way you can have a short race or a long race. just a suggestion.
