I have no personal experience with any aftermarket pipes on the Shee however I have heard nothing but good things about CPI Inframe Pipes for those who like to ride wide open I'm sure some people will chime in soon with some valid opinions.

I will probably go with the DMC 916 setup mainly because the way they look.

You can check out my page in the gallery. I have pictures of my, well what used to be my white/blue Banshee. Anyways, I had both CPI inframes and Paul Turner HI-REV pipes and there are pictures of both on my page. Personally, I prefer the Paul Turners over the CPIs. They turned the same times in the 1/8th mile on my bike. There are advantages and disadvantages of each.

Note: I have scars on both legs from racing in shorts while running the CPIs. I thought I'd be ok because we were just drag racing, but I was wrong! Painfully wrong!!

CPI with mods or if you are planning mods soon.

You can check out my pics for a view of the CPI's on the banshee

CPI inframes are $560 chromed directly from CPI. cpiracing.com

Paul Turner's are $549 with the standard silencers. Add $180 for chrome. It's another $21.95 (x 2) for chrome end caps. You might be able to get them a little cheaper if you buy the pipes with them instead of buying the chrome end caps later. I got these prices from their new price list effective 1/1/2004.

The chrome on the PT's is much nicer than most others including the CPIs.
