your lucky, after my accident on Friday, my girlfriend nagged my head off about why she doesn't like me riding...she only nagged for about 20 minutes though. After she saw how much pain I was in she eased up and started babying me. Gotta love that!

Good for you. I had a near fatal crash years ago that screwed me up pretty bad and I nearly bled to death from internal injuries. The bike was unsalvageable. My girlfriend stood by my side (or hospital bed) the whole time and assumed that if I pulled through I would never want to ride again....WRONG. Once it's in your blood that's it. My recovery was long and painful and expensive but I got back in the sattle a few years later much to my girlfriend's dismay. She decided to accept me for who I am and I convinced her that I wasn't out to kill myself I just wanted to live a full life and in doing so there are risks. What can I say, I married her. THANK everyone for all the kind thoughts. Yes I was wearing a helmet; they can save lives. It may have saved mine because even with my helmet on My left side of my head was still sore for a couple of weeks from the wreck. Slim
