There is a guy that has done the White Bro/Jet/wheels thing to his '01, and I was gonna buy it. I take it that an '01 is not the preferred year for the Raptor? What other issues are you guys having?? What should I look for when considering a purchase? Thanx in advance for the advice.

I was like you, but I went out and bought an 04 last week. The only issue is with the one way. The 01's have bad trannys, so get something newer. I am happy with my purchase, and can't wait to roost some sand!

Sadly, yamahas arent like hondas, my banshees cdi just messed up and its annoying as hell, ive had more problems with yamaha than my honda, all i do on the honda is tighten the chain when it needs it and go, On my banshee, ive spent over $1000 last year fixing it, shocks, bearings, bored up, now a cdi, that will prolly be in the $200s, what a waste, but i will get a YFZ450, hooah.
