Both are great quads. But your basically looking at something that will last you forever and have hardly any maintnance on (Honda) or just an all around fast, great looking, kinda top heavy Raptor. But if you have money to change out the front shocks right away. Raptor

 

Raptor 660 would be better it is fast and good for trail riding and any kind of riding very powerfull quad....I would like one in my garage....

I think we all know the potential of the stock raptor shocks after seeing Sheldon Riggs in huevos 5. They're adjustable, and I've hit big jumps and never had a problem bottoming out.

 

This is easier then the other post with the raptor, ds, or that other quad. The Raptor is by far the superior machine.

 

You can only tighten the front shocks so much. My buddy Andy has only has his raptor for a few months and he rides a lot and rides hard. Eventually your going to have to change them out. He has to now.

 

you can say that about most all sport bikes, even the 400ex

 

pretty much all the 400ex has over a raptor is a lower profile, better balance point and its cheaper. i've heard bad stuff bout the front shocks on raptors but i have had first hand experience with bad shocks on my 400ex, they're so blown right now that i would be better off with springs from a "clickie pen" as front supension.

 

Hey Hotrod, forget the Honda and the Raptor...
get a Kawasaki KFX 700, I'm a little biased though! HAHA!!!!
In all seriousness, I have heard better about the Raptor than the Honda. The mods and parts are definitely out there for the Raptor.
