Default OCTANE booster in raptor fuel?! safe?

I was thinking of adding an octane booster to my raptor to get some more performance out of it. Is it safe to run, oh say like 100 rate of octane? What damage do i risk, like overheating?

I dont think it would hurt anything....this dude I know has a 300ex and he would always put 93 octane with a bottle of octane booster and it ran fine.

I'm pretty sure that the higher octane burns hotter and that it burns quicker. Anyone else have some suggestions?

Unless you have a higher compression engine that needs the higher octane, then there is no need for it. Its just a waste of money. I dont know what the octane rating is for the Raptor, but I would assume that you would be fine with midgrade or Premium.

I've added it to my blaster, it helps a little with cleaning out the carb and ports.

I usually put a bottle of octane boost, or carb cleaner in my 5 gallon gas jug each time i fill it up. just makes me feel like my carbs are clean.

To high of Octane will leave deposits on piston. 93-100 in raptor should be fine. I'm pretty sure octane slows the burn down. More the compression, higher octane needed.

Isn't the engine running cooler with higher octane?
