Anyhow, 770 is the largest "mainstream" bore/stroke combo.

Are you sure 770 is the limit? My cousin races MX and he said he raced against a 790 Raptor that was put together in a local (small) quad shop. He wouldn't lie about it and he said it was INSANELY fast! Put it this way, does anyone know the pro rider Bill Berger? His set up is a fully aftermarket Honda 250R chassis with a BUILT Quadzilla 500 motor. I've seen him run before and he is the fastest MX rider I have ever seen, and my cousin said this guy on the "supposedly 790 Raptor" was taking him on the straight aways like he was standing still. Now that's hard for me to believe or imagine. He said they were working on this Raptor CONSTANTLY too, but I wouldn't expect a Raptor like that to be reliable.... I'm not positive that it's true but w/e?
