Alright guys I'm going riding in a few hours so I need some quick anwsers. First of all, with Toomey T-5's, air filter and reeds, I run 32:1 with Yamalube. I wont have any time today to get anywhere to buy Yamalube so I had to buy Castrol last night. I got my manual out and looked and it said it run 24:1 with Yamalube and 20:1 with Castrol. Running the castrol 32:1 would mean I need to put 20 ounces into my gas(5 gallon container). Do you think I should put 20 ounces in or maybe bump it down to around 18 ounces? PLEASE HELP ASAP

 

If you run it at 32:1 you put 20oz in a 5gallon container, if the books says run it 20:1 then you would run it richer at 32oz for your 5 gallon container. So you would run it richer. I’d run it 32:1.

 

That's right the lower the ratio the more oil per gallon, You will be fine with 32:1 and I wouldn't change it with out rejetting. You could run lean if you lower the ratio and run more oil per gallon.
