Love the g/f *update*

The clutch was fine for a month or so.
Then eventually it started releasing farther and farther out. And if you try to tighten it any, then when your in reverse you can't get took off for the limiter. So you have to move it out alittle.
And now in 3rd, 4th, and 5th, it slips when you are completely released.
I'll have a big update for you tomorrow when I call the dealer.

my clutch is acting the exact same way. Had to let it out farther and farther before the bike would start to move. On the subject of warranty work, I had a problem with my wheel hubs and axle stripping out. They replaced it (after waiting about a week) freee of charge. I am also having a problem with the starter so it is going in the shop hopefully tomorrow. Im wondering if the added compression might have something to do with the clutch and starter problem. Any thoughts?

Well, I went all over hell today. Signed up on my unemployment first thing this morning.
Then called my dealer, asked about the clutch....they said sure we'll fix, bring it up. I said under warrenty right, and they said yeah, but we will have to look over the machine.
So I took the bike up there, they looked over the machine and said it was very clean, and looked well maintained. I said thanks, and they said they would tear it apart and look things over. They said as long as no abuse was evident, they would have it fixed in 2 days. I said ok, and left them my number to call if I needed to know anything.
So then I'm on my way out and see a red & white YFZ being pushed out onto the showroom floor. I stop and ask a rep how much OTD. He said he didn't have exact numbers, but if I wanted to buy this week to call and ask for him, he would sell it to me $6400, and then add in tax/title/license. So that is a better number then when I was up there in October....$6900+all that good stuff. I told him I would see him in March/April, and he said he was looking forward to it.
So all in all, it was a good day. From the way the guys talked up there, it would be no problem getting my clutch fixed. Guess it pairs to take care of your bike while the warrenty lasts.
