So I figure I need to take it one more turn out.

Plus I need to move my needle up one notch, cause I think I'm on the third clip down, and going up makes it leaner. Today my Raptor was running really rich, because it was missing around while going up hill. Damn it. So I guess I have some jet work to do tomorrow, and try to fix that problem.

I'm running the stuff below, I think the jets I got from Alba was 160/165.

So I think I need to take one more turn out, or atleast a 1/2 turn.

And I think the clip is on the third one down, or second one down. Either way I need to move the needle up, and I need to adjust that air/fuel mixture screw.

Running rich and stumling going up hills and wheelying is usually a high float level.

Ok...how do I fix the float issue?

I've never had the carb's all the way off. I just went through the top of the carbs to change the jets. What should I do to fix these floats?

Take the gas tank cover off.

Take the gas tank off. Take the top of the carbs off and pull the black needle covers off. Then take your jet's out. My mechanic has done it several times to my Raptor as we were adjusting the jetting. We never did have to take the bottom of the carbs off. Or atleast not from what I remember.

I am just about positive that we never took the carbs apart. I'm just about sure we just went through the top. It's been awhile back, and I just watched. He doesn't work for a dealer or anything, he's just good at working on quads and vehicles. And I think he went through the top. I know we always took the gas tank off, and just went through the top of the carbs.

But I searched for the float issue and found out how to fix it.

The only thing you can do from the top is change the needle possision.
