Yes, if the sparks bike kept his front end down he probably would have done alot better.

Great Video, I wish I could make those long haul trips more.

 

The second video the sparks bike won at the top. It's hard to tell from the bottom. They traded wins. The next set of videos will be from the top of the hill and you can see the winner clearly. The sparks guy likes to not run the hill if he feels he didn't get his best start, jmo. Mario ran good bad or ugly on his starts. I don't know if the sparks guy does this to get the other guys clutch heated or what, but he did the start and stop a couple times before he would run the length of the hill, almost every race.

The guy on the 465ex was a nice guy and would talk about his quads. I'm pretty sure he owned both quads, just had another guy pilot it. I asked if he was Curtis himself and he said no, he was a good friend of his though. We talked about getting my Raptor into curtis and there is a 2 year wait. He told me to make the appointment with Scott, then aprox 30 days before the appointment to send in the motor. He said the due date Curtis gives is the date the work will be complete. He also said to be sure and explain exactly what I wanted from the quad, mild, fast or a beast. That would make sense for any builder.

If I had the money, I'd get on the waiting list for sure.

 

Dave, the guy on the blue raptor said that he was running with jeffinrivercity @ Pismo, and I think he said he has mopped azsand and other 727s, he also said he is 5 mph faster now then he was before when he raced them...He was a cool guy and he has a fast bike, but he weighs about 50lbs less than I do and his bike weighs 351 lbs.. I also have figured out that I need to go taller with gearing and more paddle and leaner jetting, I might be doing quit a bit better next time, but we all had fun and thats all that matters...I am just happy to be running with that fast blue raptor...I weigh 230 with clothes, so Id have to say I might be able to do some damage with Justin as a pilot..LOL

I also was only running gas, it just smelled funny for some reason..

 

Man that looks Like a blast I will have to bring out my toys and play with u guys some time

Thank's for the tires and rims Mario. I'll get the tires on some rims sooner or later and Larry will do the same with the rims you gave him.

That will have to wait as the Blue Raptor took a sh!te the last day. I think the piston or rings went away or both. There is metal shavings all through out the motor and it won't start. I need to try and get that fixed before MLK weekend so me and mine have 2 quads to ride out of the 3 of us. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

Is that the 4 cylinder 2 stroke quad/shee? I didn't get any video of that.
