Default Selector videos @ Dumont New Years.

yea i raced the guy with the LRd pipe on thanksgiving and was kiling him by 3 -4 bikes and now when he did the cam mod he was right behind me......then i thru the 14 tooth on there and he back where we started..

Your sprocket nut should be fine.

I run 12/41 gearing on my quad and it pulls hard in 3rd. You being as light as you are with 22" tires you should be able to pull 4th.

Default Selector videos @ Dumont New Years.

Is the cam mod hard to do? I think I've seen some instructions somewhere on the net. I try not to open up the 4-stroke motors much. I worked on 2-strokes for so many years that all that other crap just makes me not want to deal with it.

I hear ya, but they're really not that bad once you've been it 'em.

Guido,

If you want to gain a few bike lengths it'll be worth it and it shouldn't be hard to do as long as you're familiar with cams and cam chains etc. Drag racing didn't seem to be to important to you as much as playing in the dunes so it may not be worth the time to do it. Default Selector videos @ Dumont New Years.

I really feel my bike has better overall power with the cam mod. It was well worth the hour it took to do. Might as well pull the cam cover to check those valve clearances anyways .... 4 out of 5 of mine were off after break-in
