35 FCR for the ones that have them

What kind of throttle do you use (twist or thumb)? For the thumb how much harder is it than stock? Where did you get them, did it come ready to put on(cable, adaptor, etc) and for how much?

They are much stiffer than stock using the thumb throttle, ever ride a Banshee? Twist is the best way to go, the FCRs have a nice strong return spring so you don't need to use a push/pull throttle or run an extra return spring. I use an aftermarket CR throttle, fits the FCR cable perfectly.

No, you need the throttle cable that matches the FCR linkage. I don't know what you mean FCR kits vs regular FCR. If the kit means it comes with the throttle cable, that's what you want.

Since we know that this carb is used in other applications was I the only one to look for one at one of the discount on line suppliers?
My normal parts source that understands my need to be frugal gets some excelent prices for me but even they are looking for 420.00+
I guess the dealers in this industry will take us for what ever we are willing to give them.
Anyhow in reference to the carb itself has anyone had problems with mounting, cables or jetting etc?
I am needing to do something with a carb soon and thought the guys at duncan would love to talk me into the edelbrock I am sticking with the FCR so any good or bad points on it would be great to hear.

I got mine installed at Sparks Racing and they used all new cable and my thumb throttle is not hard at all. I really like the setup as well, pretty clean and trick lookin.
