PIAA LIGHTS
#1
I was looking at a set of roughly 4" around lights with guards too mount on my bars....anybody tried PIAA loghts? The lights are 55w extreme whites that are rated at 85w each. I can ditch my stock headlights at that point.

Ifd you are riding on th road then these lights will work for you. If you ride off-road, get a set of lights that do not clip them beam (beam clipping is to protect oncoming traffic). Clipped beam lights are not good off-road lights.

I had given this thread up. Clipped beam lights....do you mean they only shine light at a narrow angle?? With these lights, one light is set too deliver light at a narrow angle with more straight ahead viewing. THe other light has a much broader area, but does not shine as far....basically a SPOT light and a FLOOD light. These PIAA lights are touted as "off road" lights.....Dirt Wheels put a set on a utility atv in their latest mag. Here is the link too the lights used on the utility atv in Dirt Wheels....PICK HERE They have grills on the front too. Thanks for the reply bud!
