its just going to get worse, get a new pipe. its a 2 for 1 deal better performance and wont have to worry about that evil hole. but im sure that there is an easy way to fix it.

I don't think the warrior pipe will fit.....but you can check....I have the FMF exhaust on my 99 Wolv and it sounds and performs great....I also put in a jet kit at the same time and it made a big difference in performance.....plus it sounds awesome

You could always take it to a muffler shop or elsewhere and have it welded up. But I agree the pipe would help ya 2 times. I disagree with the Warrior pipe not fitting a Wolverine. My White Bros E series will fit either. A lot of other pipes use the same part # for Warriors and Wolvys. As far as Cobra pipes go I am not impressed. My pal ran one on his Warrior and the only difference he could tell was that it was louder. Very LOUD! No noticeable increase in power. The good part about them was that they don't cost that much.
As far as a jet kit. I think they are way over priced. When I jetted my Wolvy after I installed the new pipe I just bought a few jets from the Yammy shop. The jets were $2 or $3 compared to $40 or $50 for the kit. To me the kits come with a lot of stuff that you don't need. Just my$.02
