03 sportsman sat for 3yrs, new fuel, oil change. Finally got started after taking off air filter and holding hand over intake. My issue now is smoke coming off the exaust manafold, no oil on outside of manafold?

 

Put the air filter filter back on and drive it.. May take a while for any residue to, clear up. If after a couple days it's still smoking,you may have internal problems such as leaking valve guide seals,rings sticking,etc. Sitting 3 years isn't good on any machine.
