Big gun pipe, how important is repacking it

Default Big gun pipe, how important is repacking it

I have a big gun pipe, and i guess every so many hours I will need to repack it, why does it need to be repacked, and what are the advantages and disadvantages if i do or if I don't?

just sound control i think... maybe back pressure too...
ive had mine for about 6 months now and i havent done it yet... how often are you supose to?

I'm not sure I lost the sheet, I think every 40-60 hours, or somewhere in that figure.
