As usual when some thing new comes out the people who dont understand it run in fear. If dexcool was so bad as some people suggest then there would be so much warranty problems they would have switched back to the old green stuff years ago. We have been using it in our fleet since 1996 and have yet to have any type of coolant "sludge or corrode" any radiator. Its true that mixing it with the green coolant will cause the jello effect but is that really the coolants fault or the dumb*** mixing it.

actually wistech gm has put out many a service bulletins about it fudging up cooling systems, as long as it isnt gelletinizing(dont think thats a word) i think its good stuff, but after your warranty is up, i say flush it out and go with the proven and trusted green, cuz i havent ever seen that sludge up a sooling system

The orange coolant doesn't contain silica or phosphates like the green coolant does. That means its easier on seals and other internal engine components. In my opinion its a much better coolant than the green stuff.
