Mounting Hiper carbon wheels?
Since you Yamaha guy's have the most sport quads out there, I figured there will be more of you with Hiper wheels then on the other makes. I have a set of Hiper's coming, and I'm mounting Razr2 tires on them. The place I bought the Hiper's from said, I could mount the tires myself, and it will be easy, but will take a bit because off all the bolts. I just want to know from those who have Hiper's, can I do it myself, and how do I go about doing it? Your info will be helpful.

id jus get them to do it... but if ur doing it urself u would need to first get the tire on the rims (dont know what it would take probley alot) then ud have to set the beads... then u might have to ride it a lil to get it to the normal psi.... i dunno how hard it would be...

Before you put the tire on, spray the rim with a lot of WD40 to help the rubber slide over the hump on the inside of the rim. Make sure the outside edge of the tire does not get caught too far inside the beadlock ring as you tighten it or it will leak and/or crack the beadlock ring. You will need a 12 point metric socket for the bolts in the beadlock ring, I forget the exact size. Do not tighten the beadlock ring all the way down, go in a circle around the rim a few times and bring the beadlock ring in a little at a time. If you just tighten one bolt all the way, you could crack the beadlock ring. You will need to overinflate the tires to get them to seat, they will want to hang up on the inside lip but 20-25 psi will force them over the lip.
