Default planning to get a yfz450, but..

i have a couple questions of course.

i haven't ridden in a few years, the most powerful atv that i really got into was a warrior.. is this too much of a step up? (i'm a good rider, i'm just saying i haven't ridden in a while..)

the 450 only weighs 350 pounds.. i'm 220 and 6'5.. how do you think i'll fit? and how much performance do you think i'd lose? i can lose some weight, lol, but i'm not fat at all, i'm just a big guy. i'd say i can get down to 210 and be very very healthy, but that's going to take some work.

thanks!

I went from my Warrior to the YFZ with no problem. Who cares how much you weigh. You buy what you want and go from there. You can make any quad fit you better by longer steering stems, taller bars.
I heard something about lower footpegs for the YFZ.
Anyway you won't be disappointed with the YFZ performance.

Sit on it at the dealership and see if it fits' you. Some people say it does, some don't. The handle bars hit my brothers knees when he sat on it. But you could buy aftermarket bar's with a higher bend if they do. But make sure and sit on it, and see if you like it.

does anyone know anything abuot the lower footpegs for the YFZ? As you might have noticed, my raptor is for sale and I am wanting a YFZ, but the footpegs felt a little high.

I've heard a lot of bigger guys saying this. I friend of mine rides a Predator... I'd say he's about 6'3" or so. He says he feels a little cramped on it. I have to admit, going from my Banshee to the YFZ took some getting used to. Sometimes it pays to be full grown at 5'8"!

MY dad being at 6"3 felt cramped on the YFZ he said. So you might not be very comftarble on the 450.
