Default 99 Warrior no spark

Ok, I have checked out the warrior. It belongs to a friend. Replaced the CDI with a known good unit. Same thing. Checked the spark and getting a small spark once in awhile. Stator is spinning and timing mark it dead on. Bike was running just fine. And when his wife was riding it it just stopped. I have replaced the coil and same thing. Fuse checks out ok. Battery is 14.6 volts. Bike turns over and will not fire. Changed the handle bar switch, and the relays in the back. Still same thing. Any ideas of what else it could be.

Thanks, I think we are going to check the resistance for the stator to see if that is possibly it. We already pulled apart the plugs to check for dirty connections. Didn't seem to find a problem there.

Man, I can remember when I had the same problem. Was ready to pull all my hair out. I replaced everything on the quad. Anyway, what the problem really was, was the orange wire that goes from
the coil to the cdi box. My loose connection was actually under the seat where the cdi has 2 plugs plugged into it. Just the connection in the plug for the orange wire was loose. All the other connections in the plug were OK. Once I fixed the loose orange wire connection, all is fine!

Well we found out that its part of the stator. Seems that there is no resistance on 1 set of plugs. Guess its time for a new stator. Any one
know where I can find a good used one

I had the same problem on my wifes 230 quadsport. I took out the stator and sent it to the stator pros(they are in the back of the dirtwheels mags). They rewound it, not sure of price as it was a few years ago. Ithink it was around $150. I dont know what a new one costs but you could try to find a used one on some atv sitessuch as motorcycleshopper.com or everything atv.com if you cant find a siteor have trouble get back to me and ill try to help you out. Where to get a stator! If you want new, www.RickyStator.com $160.00 with 1 year warranty or Ebay has plenty of used ones for $100.00 and less. I recommend new.
