Today, I went up the nastiest hill to date. My buddy with the 2000 SP wanted me to go first. We went down this big hill and there was no other way back but to go back up it. It was a LONG/STEEP hill with rocks and its been raining for 3 days. The Y2kodiak got down in the ruts which was wet granite. I had it floored in 4x4 low range and as I got near the top, it slowed down but kept pulling spinning all 4 wheels till I reached the top. Two thirds up this hill was "no man's land" and if you were to stop your screwed and your bike's trashed. My friend tried next on his SP. He got near the top and his front end kept bouncing up on him from left to right. He managed to control it and we both made it. So far, I'm please with mine, might upgade to some more aggressive tires at some point though.

Scooter Trash: What kind of GPS do have and how do you like it? I don't like my Magellan. It's four years old and out dated. Garmin is my next choice...so far.

Oldbear, I have the Garmin GPS III and I am really happy with it. I`ve had it for around two years and have updated the software about 4 times. I use it with a program called 3-D TopoQuads. Actually I`ve got this GPS sold to a friend of mine and I`m buying the GPS III Plus because I want to upload Topo maps to the GPS. Since the Air Force turned off the error about a month ago I`ve noticed a big improvement in accuracy.

This hill is on a trail from Laurel Creek rd. on the rt 61 side to the White Oak ridge area. We get there from Summerlee mines. It's a killer, but there are some worse ones in that area that I wouldn't try on a utility bike. The maps sound pretty cool too.
