ok we got the pro circut t-4 full system K&N air filter with outerwear jetted 160 with third clip position 3 1/4 turn out 3 holes in the air box lid (i dont know what size it was about the size of a half dollar)

and my friend was pumped because it ran so good and he just called me and told me he took the lid off and it ran even crazyer fast but he was worried about it runningto lean so i was just going to pop on here and ask the experts what do you think is he alright about the lid off

 

I would drop the clip down one notch on the needle. And tell your buddy if he don't already have a outerwear, then get one. If he fears running lean, tell him he can also look at the spark plug. It should be a tan/gold/copper color. If it's a white color, it's too lean. But he really should drop a notch or two on the needle. And he should be alright.
