jaybird what kind of quad you got?

 

it is nice out for pulling a sled. i think i would rather use a tube instead. it gives a softer ride. i forgot to put up the jump this year, so i guess i will have to build one with the tractor. last year, i actually got my sister to hit it on the tube while my cousin pulled her. she didn't do to bad for her first time. we'll see what happens when i pull her [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]. and i will be using my raptor. raptor149, you still going to kent?

sn0wrider, i have a 2002 yamaha raptor.

 

We had 4 days in a row cancelled either cuz the windchill/temperature or snow and bad roads...Didnt ride the raptor cuz I spin to much to move... lol it sucks

yep, still at Kent. hitting the books hard this semester, all upper division stuff, lots of boring reading, etc..... Are you guys hitting those monster jumps in the snow?! I think I would be afraid of the big double, but the kicker would be cool. I haven't been riding much this winter, but I think I'll bust her out on saturday. I cleared out some more trails over here to get ready to put the track in in the spring. You'll have to come over here and ride in May, hopefully we'll have 'er done.

 

ROFL.. thats cold? **** i work in that all winter long... try coming up to maine.. canada or alaska... i wish school got cancled for those temps... i would have never had to go!

we don't ride that much around here in the winter because it gets boring. i'm thinking about plowing the track though and giving her a couple of goes. we usually race around my cousin's tracks he has in his fields. he has a couple of overgrown fields that we race in. we also usually do some ice racing on our ponds. that is always interesting. yeah, i have a lot of reading to do also. i guess i should start sometime. got to get back into the routine again.

Gotta love the snow, its the best time for quads, well the ones that are air-cooled love it, run like beasts. Was out for like 4 hours today, as long as you dress warm is great. Even got the gf to come out and play, she was actually letting me do some small jumps and climb some small hills with her. Its been snowing pretty hard, so hopefully we get more and more snow. A few of you guys are close to my area, we'll have to get together this spring, I need some new trails to ride on.
